The 1295 name comes from the ‘Auld Alliance’, signed between France and Scotland in 1295, and now an affectionate term for the long-lasting association between the two countries.
This ‘New Alliance’ combines the expertise of an established French caviar producer with a Scottish importer/distributor serving customers online and in the hospitality and retail sector. Bringing exceptional French gastronomic delights to be enjoyed by caviar-lovers throughout the UK.
Sturia caviar, is the flagship brand produced in Bordeaux, from leading French Caviar producer; Sturgeon. Established over 30 years ago to pioneer sturgeon farming in France, it produces around 20 tonnes of caviar a year, which is half of all caviar produced in France, and is sold to caviar lovers all over the world.
